Information For Authors
1. Scope of Submissions
EJAAI welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, case studies, technical reports, short communications, and replication studies across all areas of Artificial Intelligence, including but not limited to machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, AI ethics and governance, and applied/interdisciplinary AI. Submissions must be scientifically rigorous, previously unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
2. Manuscript Preparation
- Language: Manuscripts must be submitted in clear, grammatically correct English.
- Length: Original Research Articles: 4,000–8,000 words. Review Articles: up to 10,000 words. Short Communications: up to 2,500 words. Case Studies/Technical Reports: 3,000–6,000 words.
- Structure: Title, Abstract (150–250 words), Keywords (4–6), Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Declarations (funding, conflicts of interest, AI-tool disclosure), References.
- Formatting: Use a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman or Arial, 12pt), 1.5 line spacing, numbered pages, and numbered lines for ease of review.

- References: Use a consistent citation style (APA 7th edition recommended) throughout.
- Anonymization: Since EJAAI uses double-blind review, remove all author-identifying information (names, affiliations, acknowledgments) from the manuscript file itself; this information is entered separately during submission.
3. Ethical Requirements
- All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work. AI tools may not be listed as authors. Any use of AI writing or generation tools during manuscript preparation must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
- Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism via iThenticate; a similarity index below 15% (excluding references) is required to proceed to review.
- Authors must disclose all conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- Research involving human participants or animals must include a statement confirming ethical approval and informed consent where applicable.
4. Submission Process
- Register or log in via the journal's online submission portal.
- Prepare your manuscript and a separate title page (with author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact details).
- Upload all files through the submission system, selecting the appropriate article type.
- Suggest 2–3 potential reviewers (optional) and disclose any conflicts.
- You will receive an automated confirmation upon successful submission.
5. Peer Review and Decision Timeline
- Initial editorial screening: 3–5 working days
- Plagiarism/integrity check: conducted prior to review
- Double-blind peer review: 14–21 days (minimum two independent reviewers)
- Editorial decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject, with structured reviewer feedback
- Revision: Authors must submit a point-by-point response to reviewer comments
- Production: Copyediting, typesetting, and DOI assignment within 7 days of final acceptance
