Algorithmically Intelligent Operations (AIOps) enable intelligent data platforms to accelerate enterprise business intelligence. As data grows in scale and complexity, automated techniques are increasingly needed to improve the performance and scalability of data ingestion, integration, storage, processing, governance, and utility. By reducing latency and increasing throughput, AIOps capabilities enable real-time operational intelligence—allowing enterprises to apply predictive analytics and prescriptive, rule-based systems that generate insightful recommendations automatically. By meeting both design and operational requirements end to end, AIOps-enabled intelligent data platforms provide a robust foundation for automated decision-making. Use cases illustrate the scalability and impact of these solutions.
As enterprise data continues to grow in scale and complexity, so too do the infrastructure demands of business intelligence. Traditional data platforms—such as data lakes and warehouses—often struggle to meet the performance and latency requirements of real-time operational intelligence. Decision-making, meanwhile, remains largely human-driven, straining operational capacity and limiting organizations’ ability to scale toward predictive or prescriptive decision-making. AIOps technologies and techniques address these challenges by enhancing the performance and scalability of core data-platform services while enabling the decision-support capabilities enterprises need. In doing so, an AIOps-enabled intelligent data platform becomes a scalable foundation for enterprise business intelligence—meeting requirements for both operational intelligence and predictive-prescriptive decision-making.
