Information For Authors

Why Publish with EAJET
The European Advanced Journal for Emerging Technologies (EAJET) offers researchers, academics, and industry professionals a peer-reviewed, open-access platform for original work in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Blockchain & Decentralized Systems, IoT & Smart Technologies, Cybersecurity & Digital Privacy, Cloud Computing, and Next-Generation Engineering Solutions. All published articles receive a DOI, are freely accessible worldwide under CC BY 4.0, and remain the copyright of the author.

Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review papers, technical notes, and case studies within the journal's scope. All submissions are first assessed by an editor for fit with the journal's aims and scope. Submissions considered a good fit proceed to peer review before an accept/reject decision is made.

Before submitting, authors are responsible for:

  • Obtaining permission to publish any included material (photos, documents, datasets)
  • Ensuring all listed authors consent to be identified as such
  • Securing appropriate ethics committee approval where the research requires it, per the legal requirements of the study's country

An editor may desk-reject a submission that does not meet minimum quality standards. A concise title and a self-contained abstract meaningfully increase the likelihood of reviewer acceptance.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in .docx or .pdf format, typically 4,000–8,000 words including references
  • References should follow IEEE citation style (swap this if EAJET actually uses APA or another style)
  • All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and clearly labeled
  • A structured abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords should be included

Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting, confirm that:

  • The submission meets the Author Guidelines
  • The work has not been previously published, nor is under consideration elsewhere
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled
  • Permission has been obtained for any third-party material included

Peer Review Process

  1. Editorial screening for scope, originality, and quality
  2. Similarity/plagiarism screening prior to review (name your actual tool here once you have one — leaving this generic is safer than naming a tool you don't use)
  3. Double-blind review by a minimum of two independent reviewers
  4. Editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
  5. Revised manuscripts re-reviewed as needed
  6. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, typesetting, and DOI assignment

Publication Fees
EAJET currently charges no Article Processing Charges (APC), submission fees, or other publication fees. Submission, peer review, and publication are free for all authors, regardless of institutional affiliation, nationality, or funding status. Should this policy change, the revised fee schedule and any applicable waiver policy for authors from low- and middle-income countries will be published on this page in advance of taking effect.

Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant EAJET right of first publication. Articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 license, permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.

Research and Publication Ethics
Authors must ensure their submission is original, has not been published elsewhere, and properly cites all sources. EAJET follows COPE guidelines on authorship, data integrity, and conflicts of interest. Cases of suspected misconduct are investigated according to COPE procedures.

How to Submit
Authors must register or log in on the journal site and follow the submission steps in OJS. Questions about the submission process can be directed to the Chief Editor via the journal's Contact page.
