Author Guidelines

Introduction and Aims These guidelines describe the requirements for manuscripts submitted to European Advanced Journal for Science & Engineering (EAJSE). Authors are asked to follow them closely; manuscripts not conforming may be returned for revision before entering peer review.

Article Types and Word Counts

Language and Writing Standards Manuscripts must be submitted in clear, grammatically correct English (British or American, used consistently). Non-native English speakers are encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited or reviewed by a fluent colleague before submission.

Manuscript Formatting Requirements

• File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
• Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• Page numbers: bottom right, continuous
• Line numbers: continuous, for review purposes

Title Requirements Titles should be concise (maximum 20 words), specific, and free of abbreviations or jargon not defined elsewhere in the title.

Author Names and Affiliations Format List full names, followed by affiliation (department, institution, city, country), and corresponding author email, in this format: Jane A. Smith¹, John B. Doe² ¹Department of Engineering, University of X, City, Country ²Department of Physics, University of Y, City, Country Corresponding author: jane.smith@example.edu

ORCID Requirement All authors are required to provide their ORCID iD (https://orcid.org) at submission. Corresponding authors without an existing ORCID iD must register for one before submission.

Abstract Structure 150–250 words, structured as: Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion (unstructured abstracts accepted for Review Articles).

Keywords Requirements 5 to 8 keywords, separated by semicolons, avoiding words already in the title. Audit note: your currently published article carries 15 keywords — enforce the 5–8 range going forward via the checklist below.

Main Body Structure

• Introduction — background, problem statement, research gap, and objectives.
• Literature Review — critical synthesis of relevant prior work (may be merged into Introduction for short communications).
• Methodology — sufficient detail for reproducibility, including materials, tools, datasets, and statistical methods.
• Results — objective presentation of findings, using tables/figures as appropriate.
• Discussion — interpretation of results in context of existing literature, limitations, and implications.
• Conclusion — concise summary of key findings and their significance; avoid introducing new data.

Acknowledgements Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet authorship criteria (e.g., technical assistance, proofreading) may be acknowledged, with their consent.

Funding Statement Example: "This research received no external funding" or "This research was funded by [Funder Name], grant number [XXXX]."

Conflict of Interest Statement Example: "The authors declare no conflict of interest" or "Author X has received consulting fees from [Company] unrelated to this work."

Data Availability Statement Example: "The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request" or "The data are openly available in [repository name] at [DOI/URL]."

Author Contributions (CRediT) Example: "Conceptualization, J.S.; Methodology, J.D.; Formal Analysis, J.S.; Writing – Original Draft, J.S.; Writing – Review & Editing, J.D.; Supervision, J.D."

References Style EAJSE uses APA 7th edition.

Figures Requirements High-resolution (minimum 300 dpi), numbered sequentially, cited in text, with a descriptive caption below each figure. Submit as separate files (TIFF, PNG, or JPEG) in addition to being embedded in the manuscript.

Tables Requirements Numbered sequentially, with a descriptive title above each table, editable (not embedded as images), and cited in text.

Equations and Mathematical Notation Equations should be created using an equation editor (e.g., MathType or Word's built-in editor), numbered sequentially in parentheses at the right margin.

Abbreviations Policy Define all abbreviations at first use in both the abstract and main text, even if commonly known in the field.

Ethical Requirements Studies involving human participants must state approval from an institutional ethics committee/IRB and confirm informed consent was obtained. Studies involving animals must confirm compliance with relevant institutional and national guidelines (e.g., ARRIVE guidelines).

AI-Generated Content Policy Authors must disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., large language models) in the writing or editing of the manuscript in the Acknowledgements or Methods section, specifying the tool and its purpose. AI tools may not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and originality of all content, including AI-assisted text.

Plagiarism Policy and Threshold All manuscripts are screened via [plagiarism tool]. An overall similarity index above [X]% (excluding references and standard phrasing) will result in the manuscript being returned or rejected.

Supplementary Materials Additional datasets, extended methods, or supporting figures/tables may be submitted as supplementary files, referenced in the main text (e.g., "see Supplementary Table S1").
